At Huiskamp Collins Investments, LLC, who you invest with really does matter!  Heidi Huiskamp Collins has over 37 years of investment experience and is a Quad-Cities community leader.  The firm was formed in 2017 and offers independent financial planning and investment advice services, as well as a full range of investment products. Plans are custom-tailored for clients.

The firm is wholly-owned by Heidi Huiskamp Collins. Heidi partners with a privately-held broker/dealer, J.W. Cole Financial, Inc. of Tampa, Fla. to provide investment tools and products for independent advisors.

Heidi brings more than thirteen years’ experience as a financial planner, helping clients secure their future. A long-time active investor specializing in individual stocks, Heidi also helps clients create not only well-balanced, but efficient, investment portfolios.


She holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics, cum laude, from Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill. She also graduated as valedictorian and class president from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.


Heidi holds a Series 7 license to assist clients with general securities, as well as common and preferred stocks, call and put options, bonds and other fixed-income investments. In addition, her Series 66 securities license qualifies her to register as an Investment Advisor Representative and work with the J.W. Cole, Financial, Inc. broker/dealer.

Prior to opening Huiskamp Collins Investments, LLC, Heidi served as Senior Vice-President and Investment Executive, Blackhawk Bank & Trust, Milan, Ill.  There, she directed its Wealth Management Division and participated in its Investment Committee, which invested holding company funds in individual stocks.

An active community volunteer, Heidi has served on the board of directors for Two Rivers YMCA and The Amy Helpenstell Foundation; and the audit and finance committee of Friendship Manor, a nonprofit retirement community.  She is also proud to serve on the UnityPoint/Trinity Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors.

Heidi works hard to create brighter futures for Quad-Cities children. She is a charter member of Women United Born Learning initiative for early childhood learning, and is a Big Sister at the Rock Island Academy for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She also mentors a single mother with two children. Heidi is on the Board of Directors of The Rock Island /Milan 1st Day Fund which provides at-risk children with free school supplies.
